IB Group A Recruitment 2024 – 157 Vacancies

The Intelligence Bureau (IB) under the Ministry of Home Affairs, Government of India, is inviting applications from eligible officials for filling 157 vacancies across 08 Gazetted ranks (Group A) in IB/BoI (MHA) on a deputation basis. The deadline for submitting nominations is 45 days from the publication date of the advertisement in the Employment News Paper dated 2nd March 2024.

✅ Age Limit: Applicants should not exceed 56 years of age as of the closing date for receiving applications.

Pay Scales:

– Deputy Director: Level 13A
– Additional Deputy Director: Level 13
– Joint Deputy Director: Level 12
– Assistant Director: Level 11
– Deputy Central Intelligence Officer: Level 10
– Senior Research Officer: Level 11

✅ Eligibility Criteria:

1. Officers serving in the Central Government, State Governments, Union territories, Public Sector Undertakings, Recognized Research Institutions, Universities, Semi-Government Organizations, Autonomous bodies, or Statutory Organizations.
2. Must currently hold an analogous post on a regular basis in their parent cadre/department.

Interested candidates should submit their applications in the prescribed format. The applications of eligible officers, who have completed a cooling-off period of 3 years since their last deputation (if applicable), and have undergone not more than 1 deputation prior to this, should be forwarded with necessary documents to the Joint Deputy Director/G-3, Intelligence Bureau, Ministry of Home Affairs, 35 S P Marg, Bapu Dham, New Delhi-110021.
