The Union Public Service Commission (UPSC) has released a notification for the recruitment of Assistant Divisional Medical Officer, General Duty Medical Officer, and other positions through the Combined Medical Services Examination 2024. Individuals interested in these vacancies and meeting the eligibility criteria are encouraged to review the notification and apply online.
Application Fee:
– For General/OBC candidates: Rs. 200/-
– For Female/SC/ST/PwBD candidates: Nil
Payment can be made at any branch of SBI by cash, through net banking facility of any bank, or using Visa/Master/RuPay Credit/Debit Card/UPI Payment.
Important Dates:
– Notification Date: April 10, 2024
– Last Date for Online Application: April 30, 2024, until 06:00 PM
– Correction Window: May 1, 2024, to May 7, 2024
– Exam Date: July 14, 2024
Age Limit (as of August 1, 2024):
– Candidates should not have exceeded 32 years of age, i.e., born not earlier than August 2, 1992.
– However, for Medical Officers Grade in the General Duty Medical Officers Sub cadre of Central Health Services, the upper age limit should not exceed 35 years.
Age relaxation is applicable as per rules.
Qualifications:
– Candidates should have passed both the written and practical parts of the final M.B.B.S. Examination.
