BHU FACULTY RECRUITMENT 2024

The Banaras Hindu University (BHU) has issued a rolling advertisement, numbered 23/2023-2024, inviting online applications from Indian Citizens and Overseas Citizen of India (OCI) cardholders for Group-A teaching positions of Professor, Associate Professor, and Assistant Professor. The recruitment is open for various departments including the Faculty of Medicine, Faculty of Dental Science, and College of Nursing. The deadline for receiving applications is March 4, 2024.

In terms of salary for BHU Faculty Recruitment 2024:
– Professors will be placed in Academic Level 13A with a pay scale of ₹ 1,31,400 – 2,17,100/-
– Associate Professors will be at Level 11 with a pay scale of ₹ 67,700 – 208700/-
– Assistant Professors will be in Academic Level 10 with a pay scale of ₹ 57,700 – 1,82,400/-

Candidates applying for these positions should hold a Post Graduate/MD/DNB/MD/M.Ch./M.Sc. in the relevant discipline with at least 55% marks or equivalent grade.

The selection process for BHU Faculty Recruitment 2024 involves shortlisting candidates for interviews.

– The deadline for online submission of Application Forms is March 4, 2024, until 5:00 p.m. (IST).

Additionally, BHU has advertised Contractual Advertisement No. 22/2023-24, inviting applications from eligible Indian Citizens for teaching positions on a contract basis. The last date for online application submission is March 1, 2024. The maximum age limit is 70 years.

Remuneration for these positions is fixed at Rs. 50,000/- per month.

Applicants must have a good academic record with at least 55% marks or an equivalent grade at the Master’s Degree level, NET qualification as per UGC norms, and a Ph.D. degree in the concerned subject.
