TNPSC Group IV 2024 Examination: Announcement for 6244 VAO, Steno, Typist & Assistant Openings – Apply Online Advert No. 678, Notification No. 1/2024: The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is gearing up for the combined Civil Service Examination 2024, welcoming applications for VAO and Group 4 positions, totaling 6244 vacancies. Eligible candidates can now submit their applications online for direct recruitment across various posts within the Government of Tamil Nadu Services/Departments. The online registration for TNPSC Group IV 2024 opens on January 30, 2024, and closes on February 28, 2024.

TNPSC Group IV Exam Date 2024:
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission (TNPSC) is slated to administer the Group IV (Group 4) Examination 2024 on June 9, 2024 (Sunday). The examination will commence at 09:30 AM and conclude at 12:30 PM IST.
✔️ For Forest Guard, Forest Guard with Driving License, Forest Watcher, and Forest Watcher (Tribal Youth) Posts – Minimum age 21 years and Maximum 32 years.
✔️ For all other posts: Minimum age 18 years and Maximum 32 years.
✔️ Age calculated as on July 1, 2024.
✔️ Age Relaxation: As per Tamil Nadu Government Regulations.

TNPSC Group 4 Eligibility Criteria 2024:
(1) The minimum educational qualification for TNPSC Group 4 posts in 2024 is a pass in the Secondary School Leaving Certificate (SSLC) Examination, 10th Class, or Matriculation.
(2) For Milk Recorder / Junior Executive / Private Secretary / Personal Assistant / Personal Clerk / Steno Typist Posts: Bachelor’s Degree in any discipline.
(3) Candidates should possess sufficient knowledge in Tamil.

TNPSC Group 4 Selection Process 2024:
The Tamil Nadu Public Service Commission Group IV selection process comprises the following steps. This year, TNPSC is conducting the Group IV Exam for the selection of various posts. Selection is purely based on the candidates’ performance in the written exam.

TNPSC Group 4 Apply Online 2024 How to Apply:
Eligible candidates should apply only through the online mode on the TNPSC Commission’s website (tnpscexams.in). Candidates must first register on the One Time Registration (OTR) platform available on the Commission’s website before filling out the online application for the examination. Candidates need to register only once on the One Time Registration by paying a registration fee of Rs.150/-. A successfully registered One Time Registration is valid for five years from the date of registration.
During the One Time Registration, candidates should upload scanned copies of their photograph, signature, etc. A valid e-mail ID and mobile number are mandatory for One Time Registration. The deadline for online application registration is February 28, 2024 (Wednesday), up to 11:59 PM IST.
